About Us
SnapZone set out in early 2004 to build a service that makes the camera function on mobile phones useful. We figured that there are several hundred million mobile phone users across the world with loads of pictures on their mobiles, but no real easy way to share them with friends and family. So we designed and built SnapZone to facilitate this.
We believe that in time, our users will want to share other types of mobile content that is created and stored on a mobile (e.g. video, ringtones, music, maps, notes). We hope that SnapZone will grow to be bigger and more beautiful, with a happy community of users, all sharing, managing and subscribing to dynamic, context-sensitive and location-aware content.
